I am just a woman that loves fitness and chasing after my dreams. I've always been active and played basketball and ran track growing up. I grew up in a house full of boys, with four brothers and no sister, it's no wonder why I enjoyed being active and enjoyed going to all their sporting events.
It wasn't until I married the love of my life, that my passion for fitness really escalated. I became very interested in lifting and eating to grow and how to maximize your full potential. I started to look at food as "fuel" and not just something for enjoyment. So, without a gym membership, only free weights and a treadmill I decided it was time to transform my body.
So, here I am now. I have always had a passion for helping others. My degree is in special education. I taught for 3 years and loved every second of it. But, I feel that God has a calling for me to somewhat marry the two worlds together. I love to help kids, and I love fitness. This is where the idea of BB FIT all began.
I teamed up with an online coach for a 16 week transformation program. It was within these 16 weeks that my body changed along with my mind and heart. When the 16 weeks was complete, my husband and I were living in Arizona. We were members of a gym and I had met a couple great trainers there. I wanted more. I had dreamed about the stage and doing my first figure show.
So, I did it. I teamed up with trainers and a nutrition coach and began contest prep. It was the best decision I have made. It taught me so much about myself. I learned how to overcome obstacles, mental strength, not giving up, going against the grain, etc.
In this time, I also decided I needed to educate myself on proper exercise and lifting. I signed up for a class and within a weekend, I became a certified personal trainer. Another great decision!
As stated before, my husband and I live in IL for part of the year and Arizona the rest. I wanted to create a website that could help people and I could do it from anywhere. The concept of BB FIT is tailored workouts and tailored diet plans for each client. Not one diet or workout is the same, as everyone is after different goals. The clients can choose between 12,16, or 20 week plans. The client will send progress pictures each week and can communicate though email, phone, text, social media, etc. The communication between myself and the client is 100%. After all, communication is the key to success.
